This year feels has been a true roller coaster, ending on a massive high with one of my portraits of King Charles and Queen Camilla being used for their Christmas card. Wow. Feeling immensely honoured and grateful for such incredible opportunities.
I took this portrait in Buckingham Palace Gardens in April this year, a few moments before I took the ‘walking’ portrait which was released shortly after the shoot, to accompany the great news that the King was recovering well.
Most definitely a career highlight to see my portrait of Their Majesties King Charles and Queen Camilla, projected onto Sydney Opera House for their arrival in Australia in October 2024.
This portrait of King Charles & Queen Camilla, was one of 4 official portraits I took for Australia in which they are wearing corresponding insignia & brooch. They were taken in June earlier this year in the White Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace, alongside their official portraits for Canada and New Zealand.
Excited to share with you this private wedding portrait of the Prince and Princess of Wales, which they released to the press to celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary. Rather wonderfully 13 years of marriage qualifies for ‘lace’, as in the exquisite design of the then Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress.
Wishing the Princess a speedy, peaceful and full recovery and hoping that they had a wonderful celebration of their magical day, with their delightful and doting children.
Feeling truly honoured to have been asked to take this portrait of Their Majesties the King and Queen in Buckingham Palace Gardens in April this year.
This photograph was released to world wide press alongside the announcement that King Charles is on the mend and will be returning to public duties. It was also taken the day after their 19th wedding anniversary, and almost a year of his being King. I love how it captures the joy of this great news as much as their unerring love for each other.
